Adding Images

Let’s try adding an image into a new table. Scroll down to the next content editing window, “Paragraph 2”. Click again on the small grid icon in the upper-right corner of the editing window to bring up the table properties box again. This time, make your table with 1 row and 2 columns, and again click on “Insert Table”.

Add a paragraph of text inside the left cell, then click inside the right cell - but do not add text. With your cursor still inside this cell, click on the small yellow icon for adding images. This will bring up the white “Insert Image” pop-up box as shown here on the right.

From here you may download images from your computer, or your Image Library. Please click now on “New Image” in the top-left corner. This will cause the left section of the box above to change. Use the browse button you will see to find an image on your computer, and then click on the “Upload” link once you have chosen one. If for some reason you cannot find an image on your computer to use, simply continue on.

You will now see your image displayed, as shown here. When you upload an image, it is automatically added to your Image Library.

You may also choose from and preview the images already in your Image Library here, using the list of “Available Images” links on the right of the pop-up box. Click on “Insert Image” at the bottom, once you have the image you desire, to add your image to your cell.

Tip - create a professional looking black frame for your images by entering a border size in the box below the image preview.

Your content editing window should now look something like ours below. Update your changes and view your website to see how you did!

Note - Images do not need to be inside a table. With your cursor anywhere inside a content editing window, you can add an image by using the same method we have just shown you.

When ready, scroll down to the third editing window, and "Proceed".
