Content Editing Window

Each page template will have it's own unique look and editing areas when you enter this screen of your browser. Scroll down there now until you see the content editing window shown below.

Standard pages come with three such windows, listed as Paragraphs 1-3. There is no limit to how long you can make a page – the windows will simply expand as you add to them. You may use one or all three of these windows. Below the bottom content editing window of your browser screen, is a gray "Update" action button to save your work when done. You can safely work in these windows, without deleting or altering any of the current content for your page, until you click on this button.

Tip - you can use the top content editing window to create or edit your content, and the other two as additional workspaces to keep your content safe as you build it.

Notice the tool bar at the top of each window, which we have circled above. These tools are identical to some of the standard functions found in Microsoft Word’s toolboxes. Use the purple book icon in the upper-left with the “?” mark for a quick reference guide on these tools.

The three magnified icons on this bar are tools essential for creating professional looking pages, which we will cover now. The small globe with the chain link below on the right is for inserting internet links. The yellow square to the left of that is to add images. Finally, the small grid or calendar further to the left is for creating tables. First, you need to learn how to create a table, so click on that icon in your browser screen now.

"Proceed" when ready.
