Creating & Editing Your Pages

On the left of your browser screen you will find the box shown here. It represents the major elements of your website, with each section being a link to an editing area for that section of your website.

The Header, Categories and Sub-Categories, Left Column, and Footer will all remain the same on every page of your website. Only the Body section will change from page to page as someone navigates through your website.

IMPORTANT NOTE – this tutorial is designed to teach you the important basics, to get you started quickly. Some of the tools you will see from this point on will not be covered or mentioned at all. 

We will now be moving into areas were you will be creating content. We again invite you to spend some time if you wish to pause, practice, and become more familiar using the tools we will cover, before continuing on with the tutorial. However, we also recommend that you stick to the tools and functions in this tutorial for now, so you will feel comfortable with our system before trying the more advanced tools.

Let’s create a new page now! Click on the “Add or Remove a Web Page” button, which we have magnified below, or you can get to the same screen in your browser by clicking on the “Categories/Sub-Categories.” button to the left of that. Then, click on "Proceed" at the bottom of this tutorial page.
