In your browser screen you should now see a small white table properties box, like the one shown here.
Tables are extremely flexible. They allow you to place your text and images exactly where you want them to be. The more skilled you become at using them, the more appealing you can make your pages look.
There are two fields and four drop down boxes used to create your table. For our example, change the “Rows” field to “2”, |

the “Columns” field to “1”, and leave the others as they are. To create your table, click on the “Insert Table” link at the bottom of this box now.
In your content editing window you will now see two very small boxes, called cells, which we have pointed to in the image below. Click inside the top cell, and create a paragraph title. The cell and table will expand while you type, but you can also expand a table by clicking on the edge of it, and dragging the tiny boxes that appear. Next, click inside the lower cell and add some text. Once finished, you should see something like our table in this same image below. |
|
When you are done, be sure you click on the gray "Update" button at the very bottom of your browser screen. Then click on "View WebSite" button to view your page! Do not be concerned that your table has visible borders around your text for now. "Proceed" when ready.
